1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Freelancers ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
Freelancers is a SaaS platform that facilitates freelancer-client relationships by hosting git repositories, tracking time via git activity, and handling payments. The workflow follows: Brief → Estimate → Agreement → Delivery → QA → Payment.
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API tokens
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Accounts may be suspended for violations of these terms
4. User Roles
The Platform supports three roles:
- Freelancers: provide services, submit estimates, track time, and receive payments
- Clients: create organizations, manage repositories, review estimates, and make payments
- Admins: manage the platform, resolve disputes, and provide customer support
5. Payments
- Payment terms are established through the estimate and agreement workflow
- The Platform facilitates but does not guarantee payment collection
- All parties are responsible for their own tax obligations
- Disputed payments may be reviewed by platform administrators
6. Intellectual Property
Code hosted on the Platform remains the intellectual property of the respective parties as defined in their agreements. The Platform does not claim ownership over user-generated content.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
- Interfere with the Platform's operation or security
- Upload malicious code or content
- Misrepresent time tracking data
8. Termination
You may request account deletion at any time through your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling upon termination.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
